I’m happy to introduce you to someone who I think will be a big help to you on your financial freedom journey and that’s Angela Wills. I can’t remember how I first heard about Angela but I’m glad that I did. She not only sends out wonderful e-mails each day but she’s created and continues to create courses for people just like us who are business owners, would be entrepreneurs, and most importantly, people looking to gain financial freedom which allows us to call the shots. It’s a pleasure for me to share with you this recent interview I did with Angela. Here she shares with us how she got started on her journey and what living lifestyle freedom means to her. There are links for more information about some of her courses mentioned in the interview and full disclosure I’m proud to be an affiliate for her. She’s also kindly offered you the opportunity to take her Lifestyle Freedom Business class for free so don’t miss out on this opportunity. There are few classes I’m willing to endorse and promote and I say with all honesty, I’ve always received great value from every single one of Angela’s classes I’ve taken. So, without further ado, here’s my interview with Angela… Could you tell us about yourself, what you do and how your business idea came about? Yes, of course. I'm a mom of two. One adult son named Hayden who's almost 23 and one daughter named Ella who's 11. I teach women how to create lifestyle freedom by teaching what they know to others. This could be through coaching, starting a membership site, email marketing, affiliate marketing or creating courses. I have courses on all these topics and my main focus is making money and leveraging time! My business idea came naturally over years of selling online myself and finding my way. I started when my son was just four months old and I wanted the lifestyle freedom to do what I wanted, when I wanted so I could stay home with him. I knew I wanted total flexibility so I set out on a mission to find the BEST business model to help me achieve that. Turns out there are many business models that give you the freedom I was looking for - yay!
Why do you think it’s important, especially for women to be financially independent and how do you feel your business ties in with that goal? It is a huge mission of mine to help women especially be financially independent. I think it's critical for women to do so. If you let someone else control your finances then you are putting all the power in their hands. There's a saying that the hand that feeds you can also starve you... you don't want to give someone else that kind of power over your life. Even if you have the best relationships ever, being independent gives you autonomy and that's important for every human. My business ties in with this goal because when women learn how to build their businesses with me they are learning to take full financial control of their lives. They're earning their own income and building their own solid foundations. They create assets and success. It's amazing to watch!
If you had to offer advice on getting started on the road to financial independence what would that be? Learn everything you can about money. Don't bury your head in the sand and hope it all works out. Study like it's your job, because it is!
Which one of your classes would you recommend as a starting point? My favorite starting point from my classes is Lifestyle Freedom Business which I would love to offer your community absolutely free ($150 value) with the coupon code: FREELFB. This course teaches the foundations of creating that lifestyle freedom and financial independence that is so key! You do have a class on building an email list? Do you think it’s vital in today’s business environment to have that as a priority goal? Oh yes absolutely! Look at Tik Tok and it's still potentially getting banned in the US. People almost lost their incomes overnight. That won't happen with email marketing. I focus on email as the main income course (almost exclusively) but even if you don't do that at least you need to have it as a back up. https://susanp24--angelawills.thrivecart.com/email-for-a-living/ Say you have a very limited budget to launch a business, what would you recommend? I recommend good hosting (maybe $500/ year). You can get Kit for Email Software and start for free. Put up a website on WordPress and use Kadence as your theme. Buy ThriveCart for under $1000 one time fee. And for under $2000 you'll have most of what you need to start selling online. Make your first goal to earn that initial investment back and then invest in other tools you need. Don't waste time or money. Focus on creating and selling offers from the start. If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, one about money, and the other about starting a business, what would that be? Great question! Money: To younger me I would 100% say the same thing I said earlier. Study money. Study investing. Learn it like it's your job and love it, too! And finally, what’s ahead for your business? Anything you’d like to share and any new classes we can look forward to? I'm really excited about my new membership - Lifestyle Freedom Club. Every month there are new topics and once a quarter we are doing a group collaboration to build email lists, make sales and gain more visibility. It's a wonderful group of people! https://susanp24--angelawills.thrivecart.com/lifestyle-freedom-club/ On top of that I have plans to release courses on: Starting Your Own Affiliate Program, Creating Successful Salespages and How to Blog from Scratch Thanks so much for asking and thank you so much for allowing me to connect with your community.

It’s February. Are you keeping to your resolutions? Did you even make any? I’m not a fan of resolutions or I should say I don’t like making them in January. There’s something about the new year that puts too much pressure on you to succeed. My favorite month for new goals is September. One thing I did promise I’d do is read more non-fiction books, not just financial ones, although I have a large to read pile on the topic of money. My goal is to read anything that’s useful in saving money....
Something everyone's talking about is the high cost of groceries. I'm trying different methods to save money while still eating healthy foods. One service I love is from Imperfect Foods. Foods that are maybe not the most attractive or maybe the company bought way too many and Imperfect Foods offers them at a discount to you. The thing I like best is if once you sign up you're under no obligation whatsoever to buy that week's box of goodies. Some weeks the budget's tight and I've...
